If you have never been near one of the outdoor propane heaters on a chilly night, you’re missing out.  There’s nothing better than standing near one of these outdoor heaters to feel warmth on a cold evening. They’ll provide you with plenty of warmth and comfort.  This heater is often referred to as an outdoor propane patio heater.

Also available are propane garage heaters. These can be used in garages which will make the place more comfortable to work in.  You can also opt for the portable outdoor propane heater, which provide the same benefits as other outdoor heaters. The cost of running them is very small, they are very easy to use, and are much more environmentally safe, compared to electric garage heaters. Another benefit is that you don’t have to have an electrical outlet around to use them making them suitable for camping trips.

The first gas-fired patio heaters were mostly used in restaurants for extra dining space. Eating in a cold restaurant is not very appetizing.  Since the cost of an outdoor propane patio heater is becoming more affordable, people are becoming more interested in having them. The garden sun outdoor propane patio heater is one of the popular makes in the market.

Another reason that the portable outdoor propane heater is becoming increasingly popular is in its portability. Most propane heaters are connected to a tank which uses LPG to fuel them. This tank can be refilled when necessary. Some outdoor heaters can be hooked up to an existing LPG gas supply by use of a bayonet or a flexible hose. This isn’t always a good solution since that would remove the portability option of the heater.

Outdoor Propane Heaters operate on radiant heat. Radiant heat will warm people and objects, but will not heat the surrounding air. There is a very wide range of heaters available, depending on your needs. You can even get an outdoor propane water heater to warm up your bathing water while you are out camping.

Outdoor propane space heaters are very safe.  They are very tall and stable. Some are up to 6 feet high, which means the hottest part of the heater, is out of reach of children.

These propane heaters are quite inexpensive to run. A tank can last approximately 10 hours, this is while the heater is running at full force. Most heaters have a push button ignition, which is great. You can avoid using matches or a lighter. They are also clean burning, which makes them a better and cleaner alternative to electric patio heaters.
